Robert Boshaw

Originally from Peterborough, Ontario, Robert Boshaw moved to Vancouver 20 years ago, and he instantly fell in love with the landscape on the West Coast. He began diving in February 2000 and has been going strong ever since.

Jon Bradley hails from the Sunshine Coast. He is a commercial diver and instructor, and he has been diving for over 10 years. He is recently back from Utila, Honduras, where he studied sidemount and Tek diving.

Cave Diver

Devon Heyland (along with his faithful, fuzzy pal, Scuba Kai) works as a long haul truck driver, and he always has his gear with him. They have been spotted parked at dive sites in Vancouver BC, Nanaimo BC, Twin Lakes AB, Seal Beach CA, The Blue Grotto FL and on the Florida Keys. If there’s diving to be done, Devon is down to do it!

Victor Malhame has been diving for over 10 years all over the world. In addition to being our resident Boat Captain, he is also an Emergency First Response Instructor, PADI Diving instructor, Technical Diver, Freediver, Bassist, and proud father to two future divers.

In addition to being an accomplished diver, Dana Janke is also our resident ecologist. When she is not leading group dives, you can find Dana working on kelp reforestation projects around Vancouver and BC’s coast. Ask her about her pup, Guinness.

Mitchell Hewitt currently works as a Marine Biologist / Commercial / Scientific Diver in the private sector. Most of his work consists of habitat offsetting and monitoring. He is currently working on a new book highlighting the creatures found in Howe Sound.

All the way from France, Captain Marc Palay has been diving since the mid 1960’s. He’s been a central figure in the Vancouver diving community, for many, many years, and he very knowledgable about diving in Howe Sound.

Hailing from Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Denise regularly dives in British Columbia. She is also working on her ukelele chops, and she loves her semi-retired life.
